Several years ago, I decided I needed an icon for LJ, so I pondered briefly (never considering a image of myself, mind you) and stacked some books on a chair at a shop where I was then teaching and could borrow a digicam. The titles selected were intended to convey some of my areas of interest, as well as books I'd recommend... Would you like to know more?
